The unique, patented design of the Scarf Freedom girths is like no other!
Two separate ventral plates ensure no pressure is placed on the sternum and allows each side of the pectoral muscles to move independently. This allows much greater saddle stability and comfort for both horse and rider.
Different shaped lateral plates are available to suit horses of varying conformation.
Based on Equine Anatomy and Biomechanics
Each part of the Scharf Freedom Girth works with a particular muscle of the chest, without interfering with the free functioning of the other muscles.
The design and placement of the lateral plates do not interfere with the expansion of the rib cage.
